The Radisson SAS Hotel London Stansted Airport has achieved ‘Fit for Business’ recognition on the Big Lottery Funded ‘Wellbeing in the East’ scheme.
The hotel had to provide a portfolio of evidence that was reviewed by the ‘Fit for Business’ scheme. The hotel achieved 649 points, against a minimum requirement of 410 points through a number of activities completed by employees, including a Healthy Hotel Week and a 10 mile airport perimeter walk.
Caroline Kersey, HR & Training Manager, is the Workplace Champion for the Fit for Business Scheme and remarked “This is fantastic news for the employees of the Radisson SAS Hotel Stansted, the Fit for Business scheme has really been embraced by our team and shows an ongoing commitment to our Responsible Business Policy”
Lauren Taylor, Fit For Business Co-ordinator, quoted that the Radisson SAS Hotel London Stansted Airport had demonstrated a “well-balanced employee health and wellbeing programme... the result of dedicated support from the Fit fo Business team, keen interest from staff in the wide range of different initiatives on offer and the ongoing support and dedication of the nominated Workplace Champion.”
